The ninth Earl of Rowcester, also known as Bill, has a certain Jeeves temporarily in his employment. Bill is well and truly in the gumbo, but setting himself up on a bookie may not have been his smartest move, particularly when it threatens his ongoing nuptials with Jill Wyvern. Lucky for Bill, he had a land-lease on Jeeves, whose formidable genius was at liberty to save the day.
