After 40 years on the throne it comes as a shock to the Queen to be rehoused on a council estate in the Midlands, but when the People's Republican Party wins power (thanks to subliminal brainwashing by disaffected television technicians) their first act is to order the Royal Family to vacate Buckingham Palace and move to Hell Close. As the Ambusson rugs are cut to size, and the odd salvaged Titian waits to be mounted on the anaglypta walls, the Royals gird their loins for their new life, living next door to the working class.
